My research is focused primarily around the development of cutting-edge tools and methods applicable in biochemical and interactomic analyses. While I apply these investigative approaches to a wide range of biological questions, I frequently focus on the study of human RNA biology and the biology of human LINE-1 retrotransposons.
My classroom teaching experience includes university-level molecular biology and biochemistry laboratory courses as well research-based summer projects for high school students and undergraduates. I regularly mentor, train, and supervise PhD students
