About This Project
Current research
I lead a computational biology group based in the MRC Human Genetics Unit (University of Edinburgh) with broad interests in human genome structure and function. This often involves computational analyses of large-scale genomic, transcriptomic and epigenomic datasets to explore hypotheses about human evolution and disease. We also work with experimental biologists on a variety of related collaborative projects, within the UK and further afield.
Teaching experience
Undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses, postgraduate student research supervision, school visits, outreach lectures for general public.
